Vegetable oil is extracted from oilseed (rapeseed, sunflower, soybean) in industrial screw presses to receive press oil and press cake is then solvent extracted. Seeds are typically stored in silo and are cleaned through sieving machines to remove foreign particles. After oil extraction, oil is being refined as required in order to be used in food or biofuel industry.
